Family Conversation Starter

We want to help you start a conversation with your kids today about what we learned in church. Every week, you can find an overview of what we learned and discussion questions here. On the way home from church or around the table this week, use these questions to start a conversation together as a family.

This week kid’s learned the Easter story. Because of His extraordinary love for us, Jesus, God's son, came to earth, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins and was buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead, just as He promised. He did what no one else could do. His resurrection means sin is defeated, death is overcome, and we can have a restored relationship with God. We need Jesus, and He freely offers us the forgiveness, peace and hope we need.

Water Baptism

There is not a perfect age to be baptized, however, as children get older the more deeply they will understand what baptism means and be able to remember their baptism for their whole life. We recommend kids be in grade 5 or older before they start exploring the opportunity to be baptized. If you believe your child is ready to be baptized please contact Pastor Danae at [email protected].
